What Campers have said

So… back home. Back to tea with milk and a boring bowl of cereal for breakfast. Back to lazing around doing nothing. I want to go back to Turkey SO BAD! (Highlights: Horse-riding, Paintballing, Harry Potter with Turkish subtitles – yeah!, waterfall swimming, rock climbing, go-karting, and above all meeting so many fantastic people from all over Europe). On the bright side, can see all my family and friends again!!

It was the best two weeks ever I enjoyed it so much and I made so many close friends we have already organised for some of us to go back next year as well as some are coming to visit London where I shall give them a guide around. I would like to just say thank you for organising for me to go on the camp it was amazing.

The camp was absolutely incredible. I had such an amazing time and met some wonderful people. I really cannot thank Rotary enough. I never expected to make such brilliant friends with everyone there. We all cried like babies when we had to leave and I couldn’t stop crying on the plane. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life.

Yes!! 10 days went so quickly! It was absolutely amazing, such an experience that I will literally never forget! I took LOADS of photos so I need to sift through them and find the good ones. Thank you so so so much for allowing me to go to Egypt it was amazing and I feel so lucky and privileged to have gone! (photo of what Megan got up to!!)

Bryony was at the San Diego Music Camp

The first two weeks were taken up with intensive orchestral and chamber music rehearsals. At the end of the two weeks we gave a number of concerts in some striking locations one of which was outside, by the sea at La Jolla.

The third week consisted of less rehearsals but performances and day trips out to attractions in Southern California. Notably, Universal Studios near LA, Sea World and Hollywood Boulevard. During this week there were also many beach and pool parties which were great fun and strengthened friendships.

I’d like to thank all those in Rotary for making this wonderful and unforgettable experience. (read more about Bryony in San Diego)
